I’m Alex Snaith. I started Bildr while managing my own knockdown rebuild on the NSW Central Coast, because the tool I needed did not exist.

The origin
The hard part was not finding information. It was keeping it connected.
Plans answered one question. Quotes answered another. Emails, spreadsheets, approval documents and site notes each held a different part of the job.
Framing brought the problem into focus. A quote total meant very little until supply, labour, crane allowances, waste and exclusions were separated. Once the scope was clear, the comparison became useful. Bildr grew from that simple idea: organise the evidence first, then make the decision.

Organise the build. Do not pretend to design it.
Bildr helps plan, track and maintain records. It is not a plan generator and does not replace qualified professionals.
The promise

If Bildr knows a fact from your plans, it should show the source. If a number is an estimate, it should say so. If a critical detail is genuinely unclear, it should ask instead of guessing.
Bildr is built to do a defined job well: organise one residential owner-build, show where important information came from and ask before material project records change.
Best for Australian residential owner-builders with plans in hand, or a build starting in the next few months. Bildr supports single dwellings, renovations and extensions. It is not a design tool and does not accept commercial, duplex, multi-unit or secondary-dwelling projects.
